Becoming HER; How Pretty Boss Changed Me from the Inside Out

Before this shift, I was just a girl, unsure of myself, lacking confidence, always

questioning if what I was doing was right. I didn’t really know who I was or what I

wanted. I used to wait for permission, from people, from life, from anyone but me.

I didn’t love myself the way I should have. I gave so much of my energy to others,

always putting their needs before mine.

On the outside, I may have looked fine… but inside, I felt small and disconnected.

That was the version of me before Pretty Boss.

It started simply. I was learning how to do makeup and wanted to give my clients a name

that represented beauty and strength. That’s when I came up with The Pretty Boss.

At first, it was just branding, something cute, something catchy. But as I kept growing,

it became a mirror. It made sense on a deeper level. It became a mindset, a lifestyle,

a way of moving through the world.

Every day, I started choosing to be a Pretty Boss.

When I’d catch myself slipping or playing small, I’d think:

A Pretty Boss wouldn’t do that. A Pretty Boss keeps going.

That one decision, to name what I wanted to become changed everything.

That’s how Pretty Boss Brand was born and later, Pretty Mindset, its spiritual twin.

Pretty Boss is about what you wear, your outside.

Pretty Mindset is about how you think your inside.

To me, “Be pretty and think like a boss” means owning your softness and your strength.

It means being smart, staying teachable, and choosing growth every day.

A Pretty Boss is not about perfection, she’s about progress. She keeps evolving.

She makes her mistakes, but she rises anyway.

Honestly, building Pretty Boss has healed me.

It taught me to take risks, take responsibility, and show up for myself. Even in one of the hardest seasons of my life, this brand gave me a reason to keep going.

It reminded me of who I’m becoming. It became my safe place, My anchor, My mirror,

My motivation.

And now, through Pretty Mindset, I want to offer that same space to you.

I’m speaking to women who are doing something valuable — even if the world doesn’t see it yet. I’m speaking to entrepreneurs, creatives, visionaries.
